CANCELLERI AGE: 87 BRICK Helen M. Cancelleri, 87, of Brick, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born and raised in Kearny, she has lived in Brick for the past 32 years. She was employed in the quality control department of RCA in Harrison for 28 years. She was predeceased by her brothers, William, Ernest and Leo Solano and her sisters, Rose Morello and Mae Spinelli.

Helen is suvived by her loving husband of 65 years, Leonard Cancelleri; a daughter and son in law, Linda and Mario Civitano of Edison; two grandchildren, Leonard Civitano and his wife Stephanie and Randall Civitano and his wife Erica and two great grandchildren, Trevor and Frankie. She is also survived by two sisters, Elsie Ramsey and her husband John and Anna Kelly. Visitation will be Tuesday July 20 from 2-4 7-9pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Brick. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

In lieu of flowers donations to Meridian Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated. PATRICIA G. BROSNAN GIORDANO AGE: 76 BRICK Patricia G. Brosnan Giordano, 76, of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Ocean Medical Center.

She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Born in Newark, Pat lived in Harrison as a young girl and moved with her family to Kearny where she attended Queen of Peace High School. In 1960, she married Anthony Giordano of Rutherford. Pat and Anthony moved to Point Pleasant that same year where they raised their children Paul and Doreen. In Point Pleasant, Pat was a homemaker and volunteer, working at Brick Hospital, and with her local Girls' Scouts Organization and various women's clubs.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, who died in 2000. After his death, she moved to the Pavilion Community in Brick where this year she was recognized for her good and charitable works with the community's In Memory of Margaret M. DOHERTY RED BANK Edward F. Doherty, A devoted servant of God passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Beloved husband of Ingrid Ramos, son-in-law of Antonia Ramos. Dear brother of Mary Daly, Patricia Doherty, Agnes Duffy and Peg Bruno. Brother-in-law of Patrick Duffy, Frank Bruno, Vincent Ramos and Catherine Pruse, Lucy and Fred Helfeld, Carlos Antonio Ramos, Raymond and Haydee Ramos and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and William and his brother William (Brother Ignatius, C.F.X.) Ed served as a Xaverian brother for 17 years and as a Brooklyn Diocesan priest for 13 years. He was a language and religion teacher for many years at several NYC schools including: Xaverian H.S. Bklyn, Joseph-by-the-Sea, S.I., Loyola H.S., St. Vincent Ferrer H.S., St. David's School and St.

Hilda's and St. Hugh's School, NYC. After retirement, Ed became active in prison ministry and volunteer work at St. Anthony of Padua in Red Bank, NJ. He was a man of deep faith, uncompromised principles, commitment, integrity and compassion who also had a wonderful sense of humor.

He will be deeply missed but will continue to be in our hearts, minds and love for each other. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 1 121 Bridge Red Bank, NJ. He was a carpenter for Local Red Bank. John loved music, he was a self taught musician, he played in the Carpenter's Local Band. He played guitar, drums and the keyboard. Mrs. Flood was born in Newark and a graduate of Our Lady of Good Council High School there. She lived in Bradley Beach for 40 years before moving to Manchester and then Spring Lake. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who cherished her family above all else. Mrs.

Flood was an avid reader and world traveler. She was a member of the Bradley Beach Grammar School PTA, Catholic Daughters of America of the Church of the Ascension in Bradley Beach, the Book Babes Book Club in Spring Lake and most recently a parishioner of Saint Catharine's RC Church in Spring Lake. Mrs. Flood was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter J. Flood, her sons Richard and Francis, her grandson Peter F.

Ryan and her brothers John, Joseph and Charles Thunell. She is survived by her children: Rev. Msgr. Peter J. Ellen Carol Hansen, 69, of Lacey Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 18, 2010, surrounded by her sons. Mrs. Hansen was a beautiful, loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother, wife and friend, who was admired by everyone she met. Mrs. Hansen was born in Staten Island, New York and lived there and in Mahopac, New York for many years.

Mrs. Hansen, an only child, raised four boys and had thirteen grandchildren and she shared her time, the stories of her life and her gift of poetry with each of them as often as she could. Mrs. Hansen is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Martin R. Hansen, whom she missed every day that they were apart.

She is also predeceased by her son, Gary M. Hansen. He was a huge Mets fan and enjoyed watching football and baseball on his big screen TV. He was a "man's but could also be caught watching Saturday morning cartoons with his grandson. Buddy had an unmatched sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life, traits he considered most necessary to see one's self through the hardships of life. But Buddy's greatest passion and source of extreme pride was the family he leaves behind to miss him beyond measure, and to treasure all the moments and memories engraved in their hearts by this extraordinary husband, father and grandfather. Joseph enjoyed gardening, especially tending to flowers and vegetables, trips to Atlantic City and he was an avid Jets fan.
