Okay in ZM I was stuck, literally I had nothing left to do and no quests were popping up on my map to finish for the storyline either. During the quest ‘Untangling the Sigil’, which is part of Chapter 3 of the Chains of Domination storyline, you have to talk to the Runecarver, but since I’ve done all 5 chapters of the 9.2 storyline, the Runecarver NPC is no longer there; he has been replaced with The Primus. I’ve opened a ticket but the response time is 10 days. Is there a workaround? I don’t want to wait for 10 days before I can continue the campaign.

I was playing with a friend, and we saw an odd procession in Stormwind headed to the throne room -- upon arriving, a level 60 told us that we probably ought to stand back. Being what I thought was a resourceful player, I hid behind one of the guards, counting on them to protect me. Needless to say, Onyxia appeared, the guards turned into dragonkin, and I had a split second of sheer panic before I got a "6 Minutes until release" message. But this article isn't about my untimely death and subsequent 'when someone says stay far away, stay far, far away' lesson. This is about the man under that pile of dragonkin, who we observed in awe as he fought and killed the entire pack of elites single-handed -- Bolvar Fordragon. Bolvar in that moment became one of my favorite characters in the game, and I didn't even know who he was. It didn't matter.

Not gonna go into how I learned this. Here's the lowdown: 10.0 is called Return of the Ancients (everyone in the office just calls it Ancients or RotA tho) Story is a "breather expac" loosely based on the "Mongrel Horde" idea before going back into cosmic stuff. Arthas always struck me as chaotic evil, maybe lawful evil but Bolvar seems neutral, perhaps even chaotic neutral. Bolvar isn't at all bothered with world domination or the likes as Arthas is. They're very different personality wise, basically. So what gives? Wasn't Arthas also "good" and "all that was holding back the scourge"?
