Finding a 6 socketed item gives 7 Jeweller's Orbs.
Finding a 6 linked item gives 1 Divine Orb.

Finding a 5 or 6 socketed item, with 5 links doesn't award anything, which seems a little off, considering that 5 links, while not extremely rare, is not something you find very often.

Could a vendor recipe be added, which gives X Orbs of Fusing, when sold to a vendor?

6 - 8 Orbs of Fusing seems like a good amount, considering the rarity of 5 linked items.

Obviously good idea.

E.g. 5 link, 5 socket - at least 3 fuse

5 link, 6 socket - at least 3 fuse + 7 jew or just 5 fuse.

I would lower 6 sockets to e.g. 5 jew.

Then 5-link could be 3 fuse and 5-link + 6th socket like 3 fuse and 5 jew.

First off,

I just had the same idea of "why isn't there a recipe for that"

However, I genuinely disagree on a few jewellers and fusings.

Naturally 6S items give 7 jewellers. You CANNOT compare those to natural 5L items!
Natural 5L items are far less common!

I can easily farm 80 Jewellers worth of items within 15-20 maps.

A natural 5L is maybe 1 to max 2 per 50+ maps depending on RNG.

These are the results on a full MF build mind you!

A natural 6L is worth 1 Divine.

1 Divine is about 11-13c depending on the time in the league.

Let's take 12c as an average.

12c is equivalent to 30 fusings (based on currency exchange for 1c = 2.5 fusings)

Now I reckon 1 natural 5L should convert to 10 fusings which is nothing major at all.

I find the same amount of fusings as per se drops in less maps than it takes to drop a single natural 5L.

Thus. 5L item = 10 fusings is a nice boost every now and then.

10 fusings seems super fair from my perspective.

3 fusings as suggested by someone here is a joke to be honest.

That's completely worthless.

consequences? there would be no cheap 5 links on the market anymore. but is making players struggle for 5 links even after a week into a new league a bad idea?

Is there a market for cheap 5-link? Honestly, 5-link is a bonus on a good weapon or armor rolls but it does not add much value above being just bonus. I would not pay more than 1 or 2 chaos extra for 5-link (on a 5-socket) on a well rolled item. If an item is 6-socket and 5-link as well, I pay extra for 6-socket but nothing extra or very little for 5-link.

a week in there is no market for pure 5/5 items. but considering their real value there should be. imho for most players the jump from 4 to 5 links is bigger than the one to 6 links when it comes to mastering one's game progress

Of course there would be cheap 5L items on the market. The price would have to be 3 fuses + a small profit depending on rolls/popular bases.

Agree with someone clearly explaining the value of 5L being more than 3f though, somewhat contradicting the above point..

Defo need a recipe though. Free bump.
