He was born December 22, 1929, in Muskingum County, a son of the late James Richard and Marie Josephine Mitchell Smith.

He retired as a truck driver for Thompson Movers and Thompson Moving Mail Route and was a member of Cornerstone Full Gospel i mm jf'5- ypr Jib grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Ryan, Jason, Brad, Erica, Emily, Jacob, Jeremy, and Jamie; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers, Dan (Janet) Kennedy, Fred (Roz) Kennedy, and Tim (Amy) Kennedy, all of Zanesville; two sisters, Jean Garrett and Velma Miller, both of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. Hazel was born on April 6, 1927 to the late George and Goldie (Orndoff) Mercer. She graduated as valedictorian from Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1948 and worked as a nurse in Athens and Zanesville for several years.

She is the wife of William Harry Derwacter whom she married May ijju; lug iiiuuici ui uavc (Carol) Derwacter of Nashport, Jan on' Shroyer of Zanesville and ban smitn ot zanesville; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her brother, Gene Mercer; her sister, Marian Wilson; and her aunt, Elva Scott. The family has held private services and Hazel was laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. Dwain was born in Canton, March 23, 1943 the son of the late Clyde and Eileen Mitchell Mayo.

He was a retired maintenance worker for Cooper Standard (ITT) in New Lexington. Dwain is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Linda (Smith) Mayo; his daughters, Steffanie (Kelly Page) Mayo of Lake Worth, Florida, Jamie Jerles (Justin Sines) of Zanesville, Jessie (George) Kreps of Norwich; his sons, Troy (Carol) Skeenes of Pataskala, Travis (Jennifer) Mayo of Lex, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Samantha and Mackenzie Mayo and Logan and Lucas Jerles; his brothers-in-law, Louis (Jessie) Smith and Ronald (Leslee) Smith all of Zanesville; his niece, Vanessa (Adam) Beardsley; and his beloved dog, Queenie. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Mayo. A private family service will be held at a later date. In keeping with Dwain's wishes a dignified cremation will occur.

She was born October 26, 1943 in Londonderry, daughter of the late Raymond Showalter and Mildred L. (Hayes) Showalter.

Mrs. Grimes was a 1961 graduate of Madison High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cambridge. She worked for many years at the Barnesville Sewing Factory. She also worked at Wal-Mart for ten years.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and shopping. She loved taking care of her parrot, Peepers, and her pup, Katie May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Hayes, Janet Larrick, and an infant sister, Sandra; a sister-in-law, Shirley Miller; and two brothers-in-law, David and John Grimes. She is survived by her husband, Stanley R. Grimes, whom she married December 29, 1961; a daughter, Shelly (Kevin) Long of Cambridge; a sister, Bonnie Fairchild of Cambridge; brothers-in-law, Gary (Beverly) Grimes of Senecaville, Kenny Grimes of Fairview, Steve Grimes of Westerville, and Larry Larrick of Cambridge; sisters-in-law, Nancy Grimes of Fairview, Carrie Grimes of Atlanta GA, Arlene Watson of Akron, Sherry White of Akron, Vicky Jo (and Rick) Schnacke of Atlanta GA, and Linda Wolff of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Saturday (December 20, 2014) at 11 a.m.

Harold was born at the family home on February 8, 1931; he was the son of Lewis Earl and Ina (Baughman) Barnes. Harold retired from the Franklin Local School District where he taught school for several years, he was an area life time farmer and a 60 plus year member of the Carlwick Grange; he was a member of the Chandlersville Church of Christ and he served his country in the US Army.

Harold is survived by his brother, Earl (Janet Bates) Barnes of Zanesville; his sister-in-law, Donna Barnes; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.
